Barges
to Fraser Island

| Vehicular barges operate daily from Hervey Bay
to Moon Point, Wangoolba Creek or
Kingfisher Resort on Fraser Island or you can catch a barge from Rainbow Beach (Inskip Point) to Hook Point on the southern tip of the island.
Four Wheel Drives only on Fraser Island.
You need to book all barges except those
from Inskip Point. It is strongly
suggested to buy a good map of Fraser and
to take a tyre pressure gauge with
you. Please Note: Queensland Parks and Wildlife Service permits are required for driving and camping on the island. Drivers should be aware of tide times and keep off the beach for two hours either side of high tide.

| Manta Ray Barge is a locally owned Fraser Island Barge service, Manta Ray operate two Fraser Island Barges daily from 6.30am to 5.30pm. The trip to Fraser Island from Inskip Point Rainbow Beach takes approximately 15 minutes
